PRIVACY POLICY

1. Who We Are

YourPlan is a strength and running training application developed and operated by Kazani Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Kazani Consulting Ltd.

2. What Data YourPlan Stores

YourPlan stores the following data locally on your device only using your browser's localStorage or the device's on-device storage. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party (except where explicitly stated below).

• Your first name (used to personalise the app — e.g. "SIMONPLAN")
• Age, sex, and training level (used to calculate programme weights and progression rates)
• Current lift weights and rep counts (bench press, squat, deadlift)
• Goal lift targets and 5K run target
• Training schedule — gym days and run days of the week
• Physical constraints and injury flags you add (e.g. lower back, hips)
• Session history — completed workouts, RPE ratings, flagged exercises, estimated calories
• Programme progress — current week, block number, phase data

None of this data leaves your device. If you uninstall the app or clear your browser data, all of it is permanently deleted.

3. Health and Fitness Data

YourPlan calculates estimated calorie expenditure after each session using published MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) values from the Compendium of Physical Activities. These are estimates only — not medical data — and are stored locally on your device alongside your session history.

YourPlan does not currently connect to Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or any other health platform. A future version may offer optional integration via the Capacitor native build. If and when that feature is added, this policy will be updated before release, and the integration will require your explicit permission.

4. Advertising — Google AdMob

The app displays advertising served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalised or contextual ads, including:

• Advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
• General location (country/region level, derived from IP address)
• App interaction data (impressions, taps)

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy. Kazani Consulting Ltd does not receive or store any advertising data.

Under UK GDPR, the legal basis for processing advertising data is legitimate interest. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation).

5. Cookies and Local Storage

YourPlan uses localStorage (a browser/device storage mechanism) to save your profile and training data between sessions. This is functional storage — the app does not work without it. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookies beyond those set by AdMob.

6. Data We Do Not Collect

To be explicit, YourPlan does not collect or process:

• Your email address or contact details
• Payment information of any kind
• GPS location or movement data
• Heart rate, biometric, or medical data
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any data from your contacts, camera, or microphone

7. Children

YourPlan is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are under 13, please do not use this app.

8. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

As a UK resident, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Because YourPlan stores all data locally on your device, you can exercise these rights directly by clearing the app's data in your device settings. There is nothing we hold server-side to delete.

If you have questions about AdMob data specifically, those requests should be directed to Google via myaccount.google.com.

9. Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device until you delete it. We have no server-side retention because we hold no server-side data. Uninstalling the app or clearing browser storage removes all YourPlan data permanently.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy — particularly if we add server-side features, health platform integrations, or analytics — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
